Historically accurate (c.1780) case in Oak, Maple or Spanish Cedar for Pochettes (aka Dancing Master's Kit Fiddles), such as the Neil Gow Pochette. Only nails, hide glue, cutlery rivets and a few steel or brass slotted head screws (they were an expensive commodity at the time) are used in construction.
