I love this instrument. It is a true Irish tenor banjo with a maple resonator. See the article on the Adventurous Muse blog, The Difference between Tenor Banjos and Irish Tenor Banjos for VERY important information about the differences between tenor banjos and Irish tenor banjos.
It is made by Gold Tone (model CC-IT), partially in Korea, hence the price, and completed in the U.S. It is very nicely set up by the Gold Tone in the U.S..

  • Guitar type tuners, which I would immediately replace with nice planetary banjo tuners for more classic look.
