Stradivarius), made in Germany by the famous maker, Ernst Heinrich Roth. As is characteristic of all of the high-end Roth violins, this one has a powerful, rich and mellow yet focused tone with bright, carrying overtones.

The company now known as Ernst Heinrich Roth has a long history, dating back to 1873 in Markneukirchen, Germany, founded by violin maker Gustav Robert Roth. He was the most important and distinguished figure in a whole dynasty of Roth luthiers active in Germany over many generations and to this day. Today Roth has lutheries in Bubenreuth and Markneukirchen, Germany
