Consignments:

Have an instrument in playable condition that you want us to sell on a consignment basis (prefer mandolins, dulcimers, fiddles and banjos, particularly tenor banjos, but open to any proposals)? We have two more festival where we will be a vendor this year, and it is one that we generally sell most of what we bring: The 3rd Annual Hoppin' John Old-Time and Bluegrass Fidders's Convention in mid-September and the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention on October 1-2. Our terms are really fair. Contact us now (don@donrickertdesign.com) or call us at 404-828-0136 if you are interested, as time is of the essence.

We are offering for sale Dr. Rickert's circa 1890 Amati copy by Reinholdt Schmidt (Markneukirchen, Saxony) violin: best offer over $6,000 and an antique pernambuco bow: best offer over $1,500). We'll have a link to photos and more details later today or tomorrow.
